Lukan Priority

These articles argue that the Gospels were written in the order Luke → Mark → Matthew → John, each later Gospel revising the more primitive tradition in Luke. Together they make the case for Lukan priority, Matthean posteriority with respect to Luke and Mark, and Johannine posteriority with respect to the Synoptic Gospels, and they answer in turn the standard arguments for Markan, Matthean, and Johannine priority.
